PM Cup: Bagmati defeats Koshi by 64 runs

Kathmandu: Bagmati has defeated Koshi Province in the PM Cup National Cricket Tournament.

Bagmati defeated Koshi by 64 runs in T.U. International Cricket Stadium in Kritipur.

Koshi was packed up with 209 runs in 47.1 overs while chasing 274 runs. Captain Sujan Thapaliya scored 59 and Ankit Subedi hit 53 runs for the team. Despite two half-centuries, the team failed to win.

Ishan Pandey took 5 wickets for Koshi Province. Surya Tamang took 2, Rijan Dhakal and Pratik Shrestha took 1 wicket each for the team.

In the first innings, Bagmati was all out with 273 runs in 48.3 overs. Opener Ashutosh Ghiraiya scored a century for the team. He hit 118 runs out of 111 balls by hitting 16 boundaries and 2 sixes.
