Kathmandu: The leaders of the ruling coalition have appealed to make their candidates win in the National Assembly election.
The coalition leaders held a meeting in Baluwatar on Sunday. They asked for the votes of their candidates along with their name list.
Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Unified Socialist Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal, Janata Samajwadi Party Chairperson Upendra Yadav, Nagarik Unmukti Party Chairperson Ranjita Chaudhary, Loktantra Samajwadi Party Chairperson Mahanta Thakur and Rastriya Janamorcha Chairperson Chitra Bahadur K.C. signed in the joint appeal.
Although Ramesh Chaudhary is the newly appointed Chairperson of the Unmukti Party, Ranjita signed the appeal. Janamat Party, which is part of the coalition, was not part of the meeting. Janamat has nominated its candidates separately for the election.
