Bamjan adapting to atmosphere of Jaleshwor prison

Kathmandu:  Ram Bahadur Bamjan, who is in jail on the charge of murder, kidnap, and rape,  is adjusting to prison.

Bamjan said that he was adjusting to the atmosphere with the beginning of his meditation in Jaleshwore prison, Mahottari.

According to prison management, Bamjan has been meditating on his bed in the on morning and evening. The administration has made a separate sleeping arrangement for the Bamjan in the shared cell.

Bamjan appears peaceful inside the prison. He is interacting normally with other prisoners. His relatives have been bringing the morning meal for Bamjan. He has been feeding the sattvic meal, prepared in the prison. The prison administration has been providing food without turmeric, garlic, and onion to Bamjan.

Similarly, Prison management said that the food prepared, for other hermits in prison, was served to Bamjan in the evening.

He is adapting to the atmosphere by making a routine for meditation, yoga, and other activities.  There are more than 600 prisoners are there inside Jaleshwor Prison, Mahottari. Police arrested Bamjan on January 9.
