Kathmandu: Resham Chaudhary has been elected unanimously as the Chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party.

The convention of the party elected Chaudhary as the Chairperson of the party. Chaudhary was the only one, who gave gave his nomination for the designation.

More than half of dozens of people registered their names for the post of General Secretary. Earlier, the wife of Resham, Ranjita Shrestha, was the Chairperson.

Roshan Thapa and Samarthak Sanu Shakya proposed Ramesh Chaudhary. Chaudhary was the patron of the party. He became the House of Representatives from Kailali-1 during the election of 2074 B.S.
