Picket of Loan Shark victims outside Siraha Police Station

Kathmandu: The Loan Shark Victims have picketed outside the District Police Station, Siraha. They picketed the whole night, against the physical abuse by a loan shark.

Loan shark victims accused loan shark Shyam Niraula of beating 2 loan shark victims in the Court. They accused Niraula of physically abusing Shakunti Yadav and Sukumari Shah. They accused Niraula of physically abusing the victim’s duo outside the court.

The demonstrators went to the police station to file a complaint as the incident happened in the court. But, the police didn’t accept to register a complaint. Then, the loan shark victims began pickets the whole night.

Struggle Committee Central Coordinator Manoj Paswan accused the Police of protecting Niraula, who physically abused 2 shark loan victims in front of security personnel.

Police registered a complaint, after victims picketed the station for the whole night, against Niraula on Thursday morning. There are 35 complaints filed against Niraula, a resident of Bisnupur Municipality- 1, regarding the loan shark case.
