Death of 3 people, 27 injured in truck-bus collision in Bara

Bara: A truck-bus collision has resulted in the death of 3 people and injury to 27 in Bara.
The accident took place when a passenger-ferrying bus (Ba 3-001 Kha 2587) en route to Kathmandu from Kakadbhitta and a truck (Na 7 Kha 7300) from the opposite direction collided near Bridge number 3 in Amlekhgunj at around 2:00 am.
According to Bara Police Spokesperson Dadhiram Neupane, the truck driver Purna Gurung (28 years old) of Tanahun, bus driver, and Hari Shumsher Suwal Thapa (40) of Hetauda, Makawanpur died while undergoing treatment in Hetauda.
Likewise, the Police said that identification of one was yet to be revealed. Critically injured 7 persons were taken to Hetauda and Chitwan Medical College. Other 20 injured persons are receiving treatment in local hospitals.
