Govt. decides to pay Sugarcane Farmers Rs. 520 million immediately

Kathmandu: The government has decided to pay the remaining Rs. 520 million to Sugarcane Farmers immediately.

The initiative meeting, held under Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, decided to pay the remaining payment immediately to Sugarcane Farmers on Sunday.

Minister of Finance Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat, Minister of Agriculture Dr. Beduram Bhusal, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supply Ramesh Rizal. Likewise, Chief Secretary Dr. Baikuntha Aryal, and Secretaries of Ministers of Finance, Agriculture and Industry, Commerce and Supply were presented in today’s meeting.

PM Dahal directed Ministers and Secretaries to keep the agriculture sector and farmers as a priority and make production-oriented policies, plans, and programs to show readiness for implementation.
