Top Bahadur Rayamajhi’s son arrested from Butwal

Kathmandu: Police have arrested Sandeep Rayamajhi in connection with the case that involved duping people on the pretext of sending them to United States of America as Bhutanese refugees.

Sandeep was arrested on Wednesday evening from Butwal following the issuance of arrest warrant. He is the son of former minister and CPN (Unified Marxist-Leninist) secretary Top Bahadur Rayamajhi.

An arrest warrant was issued against both the father and son on Wednesday.

Sandeep was found to have received a cheque of Rs 1 crore rupees in connection with the case. According to police sources, he is being brought to Kathmandu.
