Sandeep and other 6 release on bail

Kathmandu: The six people, whom the Patan High Court gave orders to be released, have been released on bail

Former Minister Top Bahadur’s son Sandeep and the other 6 accused were released after paying bail in the fake Bhutanese Refugee scandal.

Shamsher Miya, Narendra KC, Hari Bhakta Maharjan, Ram Sharan KC, and Sandeep Rayamajhi were released on bail. Bhutanese Refugee leader Teknath Rijal is in prison as he was not able to pay the bail amount of Rs. 1.5 million (15 lakh).

Ashish Budhatoki has also been released, who was ordered to be released on a simple date, by the Patan High Court.

The Joint bench of Judge Janak Panday and Prakash Kharel ordered the release of Sandeep and the other 6 on bail on 1st December (Mangsir 15).
