Surkhet: Snowfall has occurred in mountainous districts of the Karnali Province. The snowfall occurred in Humla, Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, and Kalikot in Karnali.
The snowfall began in the mountainous districts, after a downpour on Monday morning. The snowfall resulted in a drop in temperature in Jumla. Jumla’s temperature has fallen to 3.9 degrees. This has affected the daily life of the people.

According to Kalikot Narharinath Rural Municipality ward no 9 Chairperson Pradeep Bohora, the rainfall and snowfall created a favorable environment for the crops to grow. Bohora said, ‘It is good for framers because it rained after they sowed the wheat. The crops were about to dry state due to no rainfall.’
The air services, in the mountainous regions, have been halted due to thick fog.
