PM Dahal responds to Supreme Court; Tik Tok banned for creating “Digital Pollution”

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ” Prachanda” has given a reason to the Supreme Court for banning TikTok.

Responding to the pursuant order of the Supreme Court, PM Dahal claimed TikTok for spreading ‘Digital Pollution’ in society as the reason to ban TikTok,

PM Dahal said, ‘TikTok had been used both positively and negatively in a way and it was spreading like an epidemic disease and creating digital pollution in the society. To protect citizens., nations, and society from negative aspects, we decided to ban TikTok.’

The government decided to ban TikTok on 13 November (Kartik,27). But the protest began as 16 writ petitions were filed in the Court against the decision.

Hearing of writ petitions will take place from Tuesday.
