Oli: Breaking national unity is unacceptable

Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and CPN(UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has commented on the national unity. He said that it was not acceptable to break the national unity in the name of identity.

CPN (UML) Chairperson Oli, while inaugurating UML’s ‘Jhulaghat-Chiwabhanjyang Resolution March for Prosperity‘, said that identity politics was not about hating other communities.

Chairperson Oli said,’ Identity politics is not about hating other communities. But, identity politics is making people fight today. That is wrong. We don’t accept breaking national unity in the name of identity. ”

Chairman Oli accused the government of being the reason for the demonstration of people against the system. He even warned not to oppose the republic system.

Oli said,’ It is even being difficult to pay the salary to employees. The government has collapsed the economy that our government had left in a stable state.’ He said that the party ran the campaign to understand the condition of the mountains and to study the development potential in the hills.
