TikTok Update: Hearing of Writ Petitions today

Kathmandu: The hearing of a writ petition in the Supreme Court, against the government’s decision to ban TikTok. will be held today.

The hearing was held for Monday. But, it was postponed.

Likewise, 20 writ petitions had been filed under the joint bench of Judge Chudal and Nahkul Subedi. This affected Judge Chudal’s single bench hearing on Monday.

Various law firms filed 10 writ petitions in the Supreme Court against the government’s decision to ban TikTok in Nepal. The Council of Ministers’ meeting on November 13 decided to ban the video-sharing platform in Nepal.
