Kathmandu: Police have conducted open firing to arrest a person in Banke.

Police shot and arrested Aakash Rana, who was involved in a murder at Banke’s Rural Municipality.

Aakash Rana (39 years old) of Baijnath Rural Municipality sustained an injury from the bullet. According to Police, they shot Rana, who was trying to flee from the scene. Rana was part of the absconding list.

Rana is accused of being part of the youths, who had attacked Min Bahadur B.K (29) with Khukuri in Chappargaudi of Kohalpur on Karthik 30 (16th November). Seriously Injured B.K. has been sent to Lucknow, India for treatment.
