Kathmandu: United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said Nepal is not alone.
Guterres, who is currently on a four-day official visit to Nepal, addressed both the houses of federal parliament on Tuesday. Secretary-General Guterres, referring to transitional justice said,’ Nepal is not alone. Nepal is the oldest member of the UN. UN is along with Nepal. UN is always ready to help Nepal.’
Similarly, Guterres said that he was impressed with Nepal’s hospitality. He said that he was attracted to the Nepali culture and civilization.
He said.’ It’s my 2nd time in Nepal. Nepal’s culture and civilization always attract and enchant me. I have a huge respect for the culture. I would like to express my happiness.’
He even expressed condolences to the families of the deceased ones, who lost their lives in the conflict between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas.
