Triangular T-20 Series: Nepal bags second victory

Kathmandu: The national cricket team of Nepal has bagged a second victory in the Triangular T-20 Series.

Nepal defeated Hon Kong by 6 wickets on Thursday. Nepal completed the target of 95 runs losing 4 wickets with 37 balls remaining. Wicket-keeper batsman Asif Sheikh scored 42 runs hitting 4 boundaries. Captain Rohit Kumar Poudel was unbeaten at 25 runs. Gulsan Jha scored 14 runs out of 5 balls. Ishan Khan took three wickets for Hong Kong.

In the first innings, Nepal succeeded in packing Hong Kong 19.3 overs. Hong Kong succeeded in scoring 14 runs. Yasim Murtaza scored 36 and Zeeshan Ali scored 17 runs for Hong Kong.

Karan KC took 4 wickets for Nepal. Sompal Kami and Abinash Bohora took 2 wickets each. Kushal Malla and Mousam Dhakal took one wicket each.

Nepal defeated UAE in the first match on Wednesday. Nepal is leading with 4 in the points table. Hong Kong and UAE have not succeeded in adding points yet.
