Kathmandu: An additional 200 Nepali are ready to return to Nepal from Israel. New names have been registered while seeking applications for the interested Nepali population to return to Nepal.
The Government of Nepal succeeded in rescuing 254 Nepali. They arrived in the aircraft of Nepal Airlines in Friday morning. The Embassy of Nepal in Israel said that more than 200 Nepali are still willing to return to Nepal. The Embassy through a Press Statement informed that more than 200 Nepali had given applications.
The online registration is going on in collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv, and the Israeli government. Just after the beginning of the Israel-Palestine war, the Embassy asked interested Nepali citizens to register their names through an online application form to return to Nepal.
10 Nepali students died in an attack by Hamas on Israel. 5 have been injured. One is still missing. One injured citizen has returned to Nepal. But, other injured are receiving treatment in Israel.
The task of finding Bipin is going on. According to Bipin’s friends, Hamas made him hostage, The Embassy said that the process of sending the corpses of dead ones was going on.
A coordinating mechanism was formed in coordination with Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud. The mechanism is taking the necessary steps to protect and rescue Nepali citizens stuck in Israel. MoFA has been directing the Embassy for institutional coordination. The Embassy has asked Nepali citizens to remain in touch and remain alert.
