MoFA: 288 Nepali want to return from Israel

Kathmandu: The government has said that 288 Nepali had wished to return from Israel.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), more than 300 filled up the forms and only 288 Nepali are willing to return in the first lot. MoFA Spokesperson Sewa Lamsal in a press meet said, ‘Previously gone caregivers are safe with the family. Recently gone caregivers are quite uncomfortable. 288 people would return as per the capacity of the wide-body aircraft.’ Other interested ones will be brought by filling up another form.

Conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas is still on even on the 5th day. Many Nepali population who have gone to Israel for jobs and to learn skills are in a bizarre state.

10 Nepali lost their life and one is still missing including. 6 are injured. However, 2 have been discharged from hospital. Widebody ‘A330’ aircraft will take off for Israel at 11:00 pm from Tribhuvan International Airport and return carrying Nepalese to Kathmandu in 15 hours.
