CPN(UML) Madhesh Province Convention begins today

Janakpurdham:  All the preparations for the first CPN (UML) Province Convention to be held in Madhesh Province have been completed. The convention will start at Janakpurdham on Wednesday.

UML Madhesh Incharge Yogesh Bhattarai said that the session will be inaugurated at noon and will conclude on Thursday. Bhattarai informed Nepal Views, ‘Chairperson KP Sharma Oli would inaugurate the first convention at noon. And he would also lay the foundation stone of “Mithila Bhawan”, Madhesh Province Party Office.’ He said that around 1 thousand 27 representatives from all 36 municipalities-rural municipalities of 8 districts, including various community organizations.

Bhattarai said that around 7 thousand UML leaders and cadres would be present in the inauguration ceremony.105 volunteers have been mobilized for the proper management of the convention. The preparations regarding the security, shelter, food, culture program, and mobilization of volunteers have been completed.

CPN(UML) Province Chairperson and Coordinator of the Province Convention Ram Avatar Yadav said that the preparation of the inauguration ceremony has been completed. The ceremony would take place in the hall of Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Mithila Cultural Centre Tirhutiya Gachchi.

Yadav said that the budget for the convention was managed from an internal source. CPN(UML) would collect 2 thousand rupees as an entrance fee and 10 thousand rupees from each member of Parliament as well as Province Assembly members of CPN (UML). He said that 22 hotels have been booked in Janakapurdham.

Raj Kishor Yadav, Laxmi Narayan Yadav, Chandeshwor Mandal, and Bichari Yadav are the nominees for the post of UML Madhesh Province Chairperson.
