CIB recommends to prosecute Rahul in organized crime

Kathmandu: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has recommended prosecuting former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara’s son Rahul in case of organized crime and customs evasion.

CIB recommended the Office of the District Attorney to prosecute Rahul in organized crime and customs evasion. CIB had taken Rahul in custody while investigating the case of gold smuggling through a vape case.

CIB submitted the report recommending filing the case against three persons including Rahul. CIB recommended running the case against Rahul, Tibetan origin Belgian Dawa Chhiring, and Chinese citizen Dawajin Wang’s driver Lokendra Paudel.
