Kathmandu: Minister of Education, Science and Technology Ashok Rai has answered all the questions raised in the parliament.
Minister Rai answered the question of the parliament on Sunday. He defended the school education bill in the parliament.
Minister Rai said,’I heard the suggestion not to hear even the word district. Our constitution has defined the local level in three bodies- Rural Municipality, Municipality, and District Coordination Committee. I don’t think it is not necessary to be allergic just after mentioning the committee or district and tagging it as anti-federalism.’
Rai requested not to forget Schedule 9 mentioning union, state, and levels have equal rights in secondary education, while asking to give it to the local levels. He said that the government was optimistic about fulfilling the appropriate and reasonable demands of the teachers.
