Kathmandu: Local-level employees have protested against the civil bill.

The employees protested in the streets by wrapping black belts around their arms. It started raining just after the beginning of the demonstration. But they continued their protest using umbrellas.

Their demands are to unified civil code issued instead of a federal civil code, the position of the chief administrative officer should be arranged from local service, they must be included in the civil code, same attitude should be developed towards all three levels of employees, proper management of temporary and contract employees as well as rights of Trade Union.
