Police arrest manager in financial embezzlement of Cooperative 

Tanahun: Police have arrested the Manager of Bhanumati Small Farmer Agriculture Co-operative Limited located at Bhimad municipality -9, Sakhep. 

Police initiated the investigation process by arresting Manager Chutra Bahadur Thapa(52 years old) who resides in the same ward. Thapa embezzled the money by issuing hypothetical lan under the names of 130 share members organization, share amount, and saving money on multiple dates. 

According to DSP Mohan Bahadur Khand, District Police Office, 2 crore 69 lakh 71 thousand 66 hundred and 66 rupees has been embezzled from the cooperative.

Police said that a complaint was filed against Thapa regarding money embezzlement. The investigation was continued by extending the custody of Thapa for another seven days from Tanahun District Court.
