Suryabinayak-Ratnapark fast-track bus service comes into operation

Kathmandu: The fast-track bus service has started from Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur to Ratnapark, Kathmandu.

Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Prakash Jwala inaugurated the bus service on Wednesday. A dedicated lane, painted with red color, has been separated from the road.

The fast bus service will operate two times a day: from 9 to 11 am and 4 to 6 pm. No other vehicles will be allowed to run in the lane during those shifts.

The service has come into operation to reduce the traffic during the office hours. It usually takes one and a half hours to reach Ratnapark from Suryabinayak during office hours. It has been predicted that the time will be reduced to 45 minutes.
