Red Lane for Fast Track Suryabinayak–Ratnapark Ready (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: A special lane has been prepared in the road section for express bus service from Suryabinayak, Bhaktapur to Ratnapark, Kathmandu.

The red lane allocated for buses will be inaugurated on the occasion of Constitution Day on Wednesday. Rapid work is going on to complete the dedicated lane.

The express bus service will operate two shifts: 9-11 am and 4-6 pm. No other vehicles would be allowed to operate in the lane during these shifts.

The express bus service is coming into operation to minimize the traffic during office hours. During office hours, it usually takes about 90 minutes to reach Ratnapark from Suryabinayak. There is a prediction that the express lane would reduce the time to 45 minutes.
