Evacuation of US diplomats from Khartoum

Kathmandu: The US military has successfully evacuated American Diplomats and their families from Khartoum.

President Joe Biden has said that the military evacuated the US diplomats and their relatives.

His statement explained that the military had conducted the operation of his on his order. The statement informed about the temporary suspension of operation at the US Embassy in Sudan.

President Biden also praised the bravery that the Embassy staff executed during the execution of the people.

Rapid Support Force (RSF), the paramilitary army of Sudan, coordinated with the US military for the mission using six aircraft that had been used in the early Sunday morning.

According to BBC, the exact number of evacuated people has not yet been confirmed. A report had shown a plan of evacuating 70 government employees.

This is the second mission to successfully evacuate foreign citizens from Sudan, after the outbreak of violence in Sudan.

Citizens from Canada, Egypt, Pakistan, Egypt, and Gulf Countries were evacuated on Saturday. They were evacuated to Jeddah; the Saudi Arabian port.
