Kathmandu: An art exhibition entitled “Interdependence of the Five Elements” is underway at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.

The exhibition, organised by Licchavi House, is dedicated to the creativity and deep sensitivity towards the nature of Nepali female artists.

The exhibition comprises paintings, sculptures, mixed media, and installation art, which are based upon the 5 elements (fire, water, earth, air, and space).

Each artist has expressed the interrelationship of the 5 elements in their style, which inspires everyone to rethink the relationship between human life and nature.

Likewise, a corner of the exhibition also comprises a section for audiences to freely color on stone, leaf, and paper. Many of them enjoyed filling in the colour and drawing.

Curated by Michelle Lama, the exhibition is not just a perspective, but also a journey of consciousness where it becomes a bridge between the soul and nature.

Licchavi House is the centre of culture, art, and spirituality, which combines traditional Nepali architecture with modern sensibilities to create an open space for the community and travellers.

The exhibition, which began on June 27 (Asar 12), will conclude on July 12 (Asar 27).
