Kathmandu: “What if Bigfoot and the Yeti started making vlogs? Thanks to AI, it’s happening — and forget influencers, because these cryptids are now the biggest stars of social media!”

A new AI video trend is sweeping across TikTok and other platforms, and it revolves around an unexpected duo: Bigfoot and the Yeti.

Right now, AI-generated vlogs featuring these cryptids have become a huge hit. The recent “bromance” between Bigfoot and the Yeti is at the center of this growing trend, making them the poster characters for this new wave of AI meme culture.

The two creatures seem to do everything together — from hiking to making travel vlogs — and creative meme-makers have been quick to tap into the trend.

Additionally, meme creators and content creators in Nepal are highly following this trend and giving a Nepali touch to their content to attract viewers. And some have even used this trend to make the creatures speak curse words, which have already started to fuel another debate about the ethical use of AI.

Apart from Yeti and Bigfoot, Nepali creators have also started making videos featuring AI-generated Nepali grandmothers and mothers with the Yeti. And even travel vlogs of AI-generated Nepali grandmothers travelling to Australia and other countries have been giving a different level of entertainment to the Nepali audience.

So, where did the Bigfoot-Yeti trend start?

The trend kicked off in late May 2025 when a TikToker named @bigfootvlogs uploaded a video created with a generative AI video tool. The clip featured Bigfoot introducing himself, saying, “Bigfoot here — this is my first vlog on this channel.”

The video quickly went viral, earning millions of views and prompting the creator to make more Bigfoot vlogs. Not long after, another user, @sunshines99, started posting Yeti vlogs, using the same AI technique.

Eventually, the Bigfoot and Yeti accounts teamed up, and their collaborative adventures became a sensation, complete with GoPros and selfie sticks.

How are these AI vlogs made?

Most creators use a tool called Google Veo 3 (also known as Google Flow) — an AI video generation software released in mid-May 2025. Its user-friendly design has made it a go-to tool for creators.

With Veo 3, making an AI Bigfoot or Yeti vlog is as simple as typing a prompt. To get the best results, prompts need to be highly detailed — roughly 200 words — specifying camera angles (like 4K or GoPro), settings, character outfits, dialogues, and actions. The tool then produces a realistic, short video based on those instructions.

Google Veo 3 isn’t free, though. It’s available via a subscription, or you can try it out with a free one-month trial. Students can also access the tool for free if they have a Google Gemini subscription, depending on their country.

For those new to this, many online guides and YouTube tutorials walk you through making AI vlogs step-by-step.

Why is this trend so popular?

Bigfoot and the Yeti aren’t the only ones getting the AI influencer treatment — biblical characters have also started popping up with GoPros and selfie sticks. The trend is spreading quickly because AI has made video creation remarkably simple.

And People are loving it. “These Bigfoot and Yeti vlogs are some of the best content I’ve seen on this app,” one satisfied viewer said. And the trend is still growing, with more legendary creatures joining in. Today, you can find AI vlogs about Nessie, the Australian Yowie, and countless others.

With AI making video creation so accessible, it’s only a matter of time before we see even more wild, mythical characters come to life online.

However, this is only the start. As AI reshapes how stories are told, the line between reality and myth is about to get a lot more fun — and in this new era of AI video, Bigfoot and the Yeti are just the beginning. Anything — and anyone — can become the next big star!”
