MP Dhakal greets Pope Leo XIV

Vatican City: Ek Nath Dhakal, Member of the House of Representatives of Nepal, has greeted Pope Leo XIV, Sovereign of Vatican City State.

At a special address given by the Vatican to the visiting international leaders at the Hall of Benediction on Saturday, Lawmaker Dhakal exchanged a few words with the Holy Father.

The Pope’s audience was attended by the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, international parliamentarians, and faith leaders. Dhakal was representing the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC) as its Secretary General.

Earlier, Dhakal attended and spoke at the IPU’s Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue at the Italian Parliament.
