Kathmandu: Traders of Gold and Silver have continued their demonstration.
Traders began demonstrations against the government’s decision to repeatedly impose a 2 % luxury tax and a 13% VAT on precious stones on gold, and silver ornaments.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association and the Federation of Nepal Gold, Silver, Gem and Jewellery continued their demonstration on Tuesday.

Traders have been demonstrating on the streets for the past few days against the government’s decision to impose tax and VAT on gold, silver, diamonds, and other gemstones.
