Kathmandu: On the occasion of Jya: Punhi, the throne of King Srinivasa Malla has been placed in front of the Krishna Temple at Patan Durbar Square for the observation of the public.

Every year, on this day (Wednesday), the throne of Srinivasa is taken out from the museum at Mangal Bazar and placed in front of the Krishna Temple for public observation.

Only once a year. 32 religious hymns composed by King Siddhi Narasingh Malla are performed and exhibited in public. There is also a tradition to sing those religious hymns in a group.
