Slight rise in gold price, silver stable

Kathmandu: The price of gold has slightly increased in the domestic market.

The rise followed a similar increase in the international market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 193,700 per tola (11.66 grams) on Thursday, up by Rs 500 per tola compared to the price on Wednesday.

Likewise, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,075 per tola. According to international media reports, in the international market, the price of gold was fixed at USD 3,389 per ounce today.
