Three demands of 3 opposition parties; Firm on Home Minister’s resignation

Kathmandu: Opposition parties, who have been obstructing the Parliament demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa scandal, have prepared a three-point conclusion and are holding discussions with the Speaker.

The opposition parties are also preparing to obstruct today’s parliamentary session and have put forward the three-point demand after internal discussions.

According to the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), a meeting held this morning between the CPN (Maoist Centre), RSP, and CPN (Unified Socialist) demanded: the formation of a high-level investigation committee, the resignation of the Home Minister, and a response from the Prime Minister in Parliament.

After finalizing these demands among themselves, they have gone to hold talks with Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire.
