Kanti Lokpath to remain closed for 4 Days for Bailey bridge installation

Hetauda: The Kanti Lokpath, an alternative route connecting Hetauda—the capital of Bagmati Province—to Lalitpur, will remain closed for four days.

Transportation along this road will be halted for four days due to the need to install a Bailey bridge over the Baguwa (Bagmati) River, located at the border of Makwanpur and Lalitpur under the Kanti Lokpath route.

According to the Makwanpur District Administration Office, vehicular movement will be suspended from Wednesday, June 4 to June 7 (Jestha 21 to Jestha 24).

One span of the bridge on the Bhimphedi-8 side of Makwanpur was swept away by a flood on Asoj 12, 2081 B.S. After the span was damaged, a diversion was constructed to allow the movement of vehicles.
