Environment Minister Shahi and his Indian counterpart hold meeting

Kathmandu: Minister for Forests and Environment, Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, and Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change of India, Bhupender Yadav have held a meeting.

Forest Secretary Dr Rajendra Prasad Mishra said the meeting took place between Minister Shahi and Minister Yadav, who arrived here on Thursday to participate in Sagarmatha Sambaad, at the Sambaad venue.

On the occasion, Minister Shahi expressed commitment to further strengthen cooperation between Nepal and India in the environment and forest sector based on the spirit of shared responsibility, regional unity and mutual respect.

Likewise, Dr Mishra said they discussed the matters of partnering to solve problems of climate change, disaster, air pollution.
