Gold price down Rs 2,000 per tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold has fallen in the international market compared to the price on Monday.

The fall of the gold price affects the domestic market as well. The price of gold decreased by Rs 2,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the local market. However, the price of silver increased by Rs 10 per tola.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been determined at Rs 184,800 per tola, while that of silver at Rs 1,970 per tola on Tuesday, Gold was traded at Rs 186,800 per tola, while the same unit of silver was traded for Rs 1,960 on Monday.

The Federation said the price of gold in the international market is 3252 US dollars per ounce today.
