Home Minister Lekhak: Alerted police not to make error in implementing law

Kathmandu: The Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has expressed sadness on the arrest of Nagarik Unmukti Party Patron Resham Chaudhary based on an unauthorised letter.

Following the Speaker’s ruling, Minister Lekhak made those statements while responding to the incident in the parliament meeting on Thursday.

He said the incident took place after officer Mahiman Singh Bista, along with the letter from the Supreme Court, reached the office of the Inspector General of Police with his identity card and informed about the implementation of the decision.

Likewise, Minister Lekhak said he alerted the police not to make errors in implementing law. ‘I alerted and warned police to prevent such incident from happening again in the future,’ said Minister Lekhak.
