Gold price up Rs 1,700 per tola

Kathmandu: The rise in the price of gold in the international market has its effect on the domestic bullion market as well.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 1,700 per tola (11.66 gram) on Wednesday. The price of the yellow metal was determined at Rs 191,600 per tola.

Likewise, the price of silver is fixed at Rs 1.965 per tola on Wednesday. The price of gold was Rs 189,900 per tola and that of silver Rs 1,965 on Tuesday.

According to international media reports, one ounce of gold is being traded at $ 3,393 in the international market today.
