Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed his commitment to realise the dream of martyrs.
Prachanda said ‘One Martyr, One Employment Programme’ would be launched on Wednesday at the Martyrs’ Family Felicitation Program. He reached Matiyabasti of Punarbas municipality for the CPN (Maoist Centre) Tarai-Madhes awareness campaign with the party’s postal highway-centric people.
Prachanda said he and his party would remain committed to fulfilling their responsibilities and duties towards the families of martyrs and enforced disappeared combatants. Pledging to follow the right path shown by the martyrs, he said the party has placed the members of the martyrs’ families in high positions.
The republican system of governance has been established through the sacrifice of the people, Chairperson Prachanda said, adding that there cannot be another system of governance as an alternative to the republic. On the occasion, he honoured the family members of the martyrs with shawls.
Meanwhile, Prachanda inaugurated the Drinking Water Project at Rampur of Belauri Municipality. Also today, Chair Dahal met the members of the martyrs and disappeared persons’ families on the Shovatal premises in Punarbas Municipality-5.
During the meeting, he reiterated his commitment not to waste the sacrifices of the martyrs and move ahead on the path of justice, dignity and equality.
