Day 27: CPN (Unified Socialist)’s solidarity in teachers’ demonstration (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The teachers’ demonstration to promulgate the Education Act has entered its 27th day.

The CPN (Unified Socialist) Party also showed solidarity in the teachers’ demonstration on Monday. Party Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal, respected leader Jhalanath Khanal and other leaders also participated in the demonstration.

Day 26: Police use water cannons to control agitating teachers (Photos)

Teachers’ participation in the demonstration is increasing. They are intensifying their demonstration after the government has neglected to address the demands.

Likewise, there was a scuffle between teachers and police on Sunday, where police used water cannons to control the agitating teachers. More than a dozen teachers were injured in the scuffle.

Teachers began their demonstration on Chaitra 20 (April 2).
