Kathmandu: The Nepal Civil Campaign has organized a protest outside the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu.

The campaigners staged a demonstration in front of the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu against the killing of 26 tourists, including Nepali student Sudip Neupane, by a terrorist group in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India, on Baisakh 9 (April 22).

The demonstrators strongly condemned the terrorist attack and demanded strict action. They also protested against the recent derogatory remarks made by the Pakistani Army Chief against the global Hindu community, accusing him of inciting religious tensions.

Through a memorandum, the Nepal Civil Campaign called on the international community to unite against terrorism and to ensure compensation for the victims’ families. During the protest, participants peacefully staged a sit-in to raise their voices.
