Day 22: Teachers' demonstration under Umbrellas (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Teachers have been continuing their Kathmandu-centered street demonstration for the past 22 days.

The demonstration, led by the Nepal Teachers’ Federation, has become increasingly intense in recent days. As the heat rises, teachers have been demonstrating in the streets under umbrellas.

On Wednesday as well, the protest has entered its 22nd consecutive day. They marched from Maitighar and staged a sit-in at New Baneshwor.

They have stated that the protest will continue until the School Education Act is implemented. The association has also announced that it will not participate in the Grade 12 examinations.
