Kathmandu: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has drawn the attention of the government to the need to meet the justified demands of teachers through the prompt passage of the School Education Bill.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in Parisdanda on Wednesday, party vice-chairperson and spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota demanded creating an environment to bring the agitating teachers back to school by passing the Education Bill at the beginning of the upcoming parliament session.

The CPN (Maoist Centre) drew the attention of the government to meet the legitimate demands by holding talks with the agitating parties, including microfinance victims, cooperative victims, employees and doctors immediately.

Likewise, the main opposition party urged the government to focus the present government’s attention towards good governance, curbing corruption, and taking into account the public sentiment.
