RPP Chairperson Lingden arrested for attempting to protest inside Singhadurbar

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden, along with other party leaders, has been arrested by police from inside Singha Durbar.

They were about to stage a protest with placards inside the Singha Durbar premises. However, police reportedly confiscated their placards.

Currently, RPP supporters are protesting in the New Baneshwor area. The party leaders had been inside the Parliamentary Party office located in Singha Durbar.

After leaving the office, they took to the streets with placards, which led to their arrest.
