Hamas rejects Israel’s new ceasefire proposal

Kathmandu: Hamas has officially rejected the new ceasefire proposal proposed by Israel.

Hamas said it is ready to negotiate an agreement to end the war in exchange for the release of remaining hostages and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

Likewise, Hamas Chief Khalil al-Hayya, through video, shared his statement. ‘We will not accept any agreement that fulfills the political agenda of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,’ said Hayya.

Israel called for a 45-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of 10 hostages. The Health Ministry, run by Hama, said 37 people died in an Israeli air strike.  However, Israel hasn’t said anything about an attack.
