Security arrangements tightened at Balkhu (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has been demonstrating at Balkhu.

The demonstration has been ongoing since 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The government made tight security arrangements for the demonstration.

Thousands of Nepal Police and Armed Force security personnel deployed in Balkhu premises.

Security mobilized since Tuesday morning, despite begin of RPP’s demonstration and general assembly.

Currently, situation is normal in Balkhu. Jagman Gurung The Joint People’s Movement Committee led by Jagman Gurung support the RPP’s demonstration.

Police said security arrangement tightened considering the possiblilty of Durga Prasai caders would also participate.
