PM Oli: Modi ji will not be able to attend the Sagarmatha Sambaad

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was invited as the chief guest for the Sagarmatha Sambaad, will not be able to visit Nepal.

Speaking to journalists at Trubhuvan International Airport upon his return from a one-day official visit to Thailand and the BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) summit on Saturday, Prime Minister Oli briefed about Modi’s inability to visit Nepal.

‘This time, Modi ji will not be able to attend the Sagarmatha Sambaad. It turns out that he already has a scheduled program to visit Europe,’ Prime Minister Oli said,’ Since that program is already set, he won’t be able to come here. However, there will be a high-level representation from India.’
