FNJ's protest against 'murder' of journalist Suresh Rajak (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala.

Condemning the murder of journalist Suresh Rajak during the demonstration of Monarchists on Friday, the FNJ staged the protest on Saturday morning.

The federation suspended all pre-scheduled programs for its foundation day and took to the streets in protest against Rajak’s ‘murder’.

Earlier, FNJ decided to observe the foundation day as a day of mourning and protest against the killing of journalists and attacks on media houses and journalists.

During the protest, photojournalists and video journalists symbolically expressed their dissent by lowering their cameras, demanding justice for Suresh Rajak’s murder.
