Monarchists to gather at Tinkune and Gaushala before heading towards TIA

Kathmandu: Monarchists will gather at Tinkune and Gaushala, and go to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to welcome former King Gyanendra Shah.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Spokesperson Gyanendra Shahi said supporters coming from Kavrepalanchowk, Sindhupalchowk, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kathmandu Metropolitian City, Kageshwori Manohara, Kirtipur, Chandragiri, Dakshinkali, and Nagarjun will gather at Tinkune.

Shahi said supporters coming from Tokha, Gokarneshwor, Buddhanilkantha, Tarakeshwor, Nuwakot and Dhading will gather at Gaushala.

Monarchists have been preparing to welcome the former King, who is returning from Pokhara, in the afternoon.

RPP to exhibit its strength by welcoming former King

Earlier, various news outlets reported that RPP Chairperson Rajendra Lingden would not participate in the rally.

However, RPP Spokesperson Shahi informed Nepal Views that Chairperson Lingden will participate in the rally.
