Kathmandu: The staging of the drama ‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tarale’ is underway at Mandala Theatre, Thapagaun.

‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tarale’ reflects the ultimate dream of the current Nepali society of attaining prosperity by taking foreign employment as an alternative option. The drama shows how love, care, warmth, and belief are turning Nepali society is being left alone.

‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tarale’ shows how the migration of Nepali Youths is creating distance between the youths with their family, friends, and relatives. Though Nepali Youths migrate to foreign lands for education, employment, and opportunities, they are paying a huge price for emotions.

The drama also touches on the harsh reality of how people forget the power of love, brotherhood, trust, and familiarity in the course of chasing the modern lifestyle. Foreign employment has been portrayed not only as a desire but as the only alternative left for the sake of uplifting life.

Upasha Tamang, Anjana Rai, Meera Pandit, Binod Rahu Magar, Menuka Majhi, Badri Prasad Tiwari, Pragati Kharel, and others are the actors in the drama. Muma Arts and Mandala Theatre jointly presented the drama. All the actors are the students of the Mandala’s Lab 16.

Similarly, Theatre artist Ingihopo Koich Sunuwar is the writer, producer, and director of ‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tarale.’

The staging of the drama began on February 22 (Falgun 10). The drama will be staged till March 2 (Falgun 18) every day at 4.00 p.m. except on Mondays.
